Episode 6: Rawdah Mohamed

This week’s guest is a true powerhouse that cannot be defined by one title. Rawdah is an internationally acclaimed model, yet she uses her social platform to discuss and shine a light on issues that go much deeper than just fashion. Rawdah lived in a refugee camp in Somalia before moving with her family to Norway as a young child. This experience has shaped her outlook on life, and Rawdah’s main mission is to instil the same values she was raised with in Somalia into her young daughter, who experiences a very different upbringing in Norway.As Rawdah explains to Susanne, her ‘opinions are non-negotiable’. Dignity and self-worth are so much more valuable to Rawdah than any cover could be, and she knows she doesn’t need to pander to anyone to get what she wants; no matter how powerful they may seem to be.
