Never a day goes by, without considering myself incredibly lucky. I was one of the millions, out there on the dance floor, eyes closed, hands in the air, completely absorbed by a new kind of electronic music. The sound was house. It was loud, it was hypnotic and an entire generation was moved by its beat. Those who were there were probably witnessing the last great cultural uprising this country will ever see.
