Yes, Google and YouTube are owned by the same company, but that doesn't mean that what works on Google works on YouTube. Just look at their homepages to see that they have very different goals, different objectives, and that people use them very differently. We need to ditch our "Google Mentality" and have a YouTube mentality instead in order for our videos to reach more people.
