Cardinal Birds is a Ukrainian rock band from Kyiv. The band was formed in 2014 and currently consists of Dmytro Lavreniuk “Dee Lav” (lead vocals, bass), Vladyslav Stebel (lead & rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Maksym Kolomiiets “Cech” (drums, backing vocals).Since its founding in 2014, the band has released 5 singles and one EP.The founders of the group were Maksym Kolomiiets and Dmytro Lavreniuk, who met through an ad on the website of the Kyiv Rock Club. Maksym, together with his school friends, were looking for a bass player and a guitarist for their group, responding to this announcement, Dmytro invited his cousin, Vladyslav, who played the guitar, to go to a rehearsal together. The first rehearsal of the new band took place on July 3, 2014. Then, in addition to the main members, the group included two more people: Alexey (vocals) and Mikhail (guitar).
