In both of these stories we have questions about ethics but also about the nature of consciousness and the soul. Whether making a cute image or growing spare human bodies, we are dealing with forces of mimicry rather than true creation. We are dealing with reflections and shadows rather than a source of creation. With bodyoids there is very real possibility that, when considering designer babies, too, celebrities, politicians, athletes, etc., could be essentially cloned and programmed to act as backups or replacements for their originals. Perhaps this is behind the NPC conspiracy theory, that people are programs or replaced by such in the real world. -FREE ARCHIVE (w. ads)SUBSCRIPTION ARCHIVEX / TWITTER FACEBOOKMAIN WEBSITECashApp: $rdgable EMAIL: [email protected] / [email protected] a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/tst-radio--5328407/support.
