The PM Team w/Poni & Mueller - En podkast av Audacy - Fredager
Russell Wilson says he wants to be back, but is he worth his price? Is anyone else still on his bandwagon? The guys are worried Wilson still thinks he’s in his prime. Where is the better version of Russ? Out of the true options going into next season, is Wilson really their best chance to win a playoff game? Russell Wilson and Arthur Smith reportedly did not have a great working relationship this season. We took calls on if fans want Wilson back. Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike said he would be “stunned” if Russell Wilson is back next year, but questioned what that answer could be next season. Mike doesn’t foresee any big changes in the coaching staff, but he did mention something he found interesting the wording of the Gerry Dulac article regarding the future of Mike Tomlin. Mike said people should be upset about what happened and how the season ended. Mike isn’t sure if Tomlin’s job would be safe somewhere else and why the Steelers situation is always different. Mike reacted to the report that George Pickens was late to the Christmas Day game. Mike ranted about a crutch that Tomlin has when he gives his weekly pressers. Mike gave his thoughts on the amount of 1st round picks that are still alive at the QB position and why the Steelers can’t blow their chance next time, like they did to appease to Ben Roethlisberger for the last couple of seasons. Mike doesn’t see Arthur Smith getting one of these head coaching jobs unless the team involved is very desperate.
