HOUR 3 - Mark Kaboly

The PM Team w/Poni & Mueller - En podkast av Audacy

Steelers correspondent Mark Kaboly from The Pat McAfee Show joined the show. Mark reacted to the latest on Aaron Rodgers, who came and went to Pittsburgh without a deal. Mark isn’t surprised Rodgers didn’t put pen to paper today. Is it weird that Rodgers didn’t meet with Art Rooney during his meeting? Mark tried to describe what a chat between Rodgers and Rooney would be like. The guys discussed what Mike Tomlin could have had on his docket for Rodgers. Mark thinks Rodgers may just go back to Malibu and walk the beach after this because he is in no hurry. Will Rodgers get more than Sam Darnold got from Seattle? Mark gave his thoughts on Rodgers waiting this out all summer and possibly missing out on a team entirely. How much power will Rodgers want if he is signed? More w/ Mark – Mark shared some of the best high school basketball players he has ever seen. Mark doesn’t think a deadline will be set on Aaron Rodgers after the Steelers met with him earlier today. Mark talked about the mix-ups that come about when sourcing through the Steelers. Mark said the only person that knows the answer is Aaron and he believes nobody else has the answer. More w/ Mark – Another snippet from the Aaron Rodgers story. The team and player have reportedly had contract parameters in place for some time now. Will there be a domino effect on the Rodgers’ move, like a QB in the draft? Mark thinks Jaxson Dart is off the table – or at least he will be by the time we hit draft night. The guys discussed the possibility of the Steelers taking a QB in the later rounds no matter what happens. Mark believes it’s bothering the Steelers, mostly Omar Khan, that the team does not own a 2nd round pick due to the DK Metcalf trade. Poni wanted to get Mark’s thoughts on what Najee Harris has said since arriving in LA. Mark doesn’t rule out the Steelers picking a RB in the 1st round this year. Mark isn’t betting on Rodgers signing with the Steelers by the time we chat with him next Friday.
