HOUR 2 - Steelers draft Howard, Calls, Dustin Fox
The PM Team w/Poni & Mueller - En podkast av Audacy - Mandager

Will Howard is the newest Steelers quarterback after the team drafted him in the 6th round this weekend in the NFL Draft. Did the Steelers make a mistake in not drafting Shedeur Sanders? To no surprise, Mel Kiper gave the Steelers a bad grade because they didn’t take Sanders. Poni is already declaring that Howard will have a better career than Sanders, while Chris thinks they are both bound to be career backups. The guys addressed the fall of Sanders during the draft, something pretty much nobody expected. With the Steelers still courting Aaron Rodgers, was it smart for the Steelers to avoid Sanders? Poni isn’t ruling out Howard being the Steelers starter at some point and he may get a chance to show them this season. The way it shook out, do you like the draft a little bit more? We got some reaction from people on the Steelers drafting Will Howard in the 6th round. Former Ohio State LB Dustin Fox joined the show. Dustin isn’t enough of a homer to predict a Super Bowl in the future of Will Howard. Dustin described Howard as a future starter in the league, citing his size and athleticism. He questioned the Browns taking 2 QBs and neither one being the kid at Ohio State. Dustin thinks the value that the Browns got with Shedeur Sanders is about the same value the Steelers got with Howard. The guys asked Dustin who the odd-man-out may be in Cleveland. Dustin raved about Jack Sawyer, who the Steelers snagged in the 4th round on Saturday.
