HOUR 2 - Shady throws shade at Steelers, GIVEAWAY, Mike Florio

LeSean McCoy is calling out the Steelers as an incompetent franchise. The Pitt legend said he’s disappointed in the Steelers. The guys think the Steelers are competent, but they are mediocre. They have fallen into a purgatory of thinking they are better than they are. They aren’t in the category of the Browns or the Jets. The Steelers are ‘decent’ and nothing more. NCAA Tournament over/under game. (GIVEAWAY) / We also talked about the Jared Jones injury and what it could mean for the Pirates season. Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike reacted to the Aaron Rodgers development that the Vikings turned him down and are committed to JJ McCarthy. Mike doesn’t think this will change anything and he doesn’t think it completely closes the door on the Vikings. Mike backed what Cam Heyward said yesterday and he would like to see the Steelers hang up the phone at some point. Mike thinks Joe Flacco and Jameis Winston should still be considered as backup plans if Rodgers falls through. Mike still believes Rodgers is the best passer on the market, but said he’s not really interested in doing anything besides playing the games. Mike said the Vikings really caught Rodgers’ interest, but he really wants to see how long these teams will wait for him. Mike hypothesized that Rodgers likes the Vikings a lot more than the other two teams and if McCarthy doesn’t look great in the offseason workouts, maybe they will still call him. The guys asked Mike about a rule change the Steelers proposed earlier today – Mike thinks the Steelers are worried about being caught tampering.
