HOUR 1 - PGH March Madness characters, Chris Shovlin, Jason Mackey

A ranking of our 25 favorite Pittsburgh-related March Madness characters. Robert Morris PxP voice Chris Shovlin joined the show. Chris has called more games than anyone in Bobby Mo history. Chris said he packed enough clothes to stay until Sunday. Chris has already tried to foresee a Robert Morris win over Alabama. Chris said he just saw practice and it’s the best Robert Morris practice he has seen in quite some time. Chris thinks this very well may be the best Bobby Mo team of all-time, dating back to the time he started there in the late 1980’s. Chris can’t say enough about Andy Toole, who he described as a basketball genius. The guys made sure to note that Poni left a game at halftime this season and since then the Colonials have turned the season around. Chris doesn’t have a call planned out because he said he wants the call to come to him naturally. Chris brought up the tough loss to Villanova in 2010. Chris did not give a score prediction, but is praying for a Robert Morris victory. PG columnist Jason Mackey joined the show. How is Jason’s bracket looking? He filled out 3 brackets, which could be a party foul. Jason is out on Aaron Rodgers for the likely price tag. Jason is fine with Mason Rudolph being the team’s starter with a Joe Flacco in the mix as well. Jason said he would have a hard time passing up Shedeur Sanders if he is available at 21st overall. Jason and Poni went back and forth on a steak dinner. Jason has the Pirates at 84 wins this season, which starts officially in one week.
