PG columnist Jason Mackey joined the show. Jason thinks the Erik Karlsson contract is worse than Tristan Jarry, but it’s hard to defend a guy that got put on waivers and sent to the minors. Jason said he can’t see how there isn’t some question into the job that has been done by Kyle Dubas so far. Jason doesn’t think they are anywhere close to a playoff team, despite what the standings may say. What kind of expectations should there be for Joel Blomqvist in net? Jason thinks the Penguins are in a worse situation than the Steelers, citing that the Steelers are a few aggressive moves away – the Penguins are several. Are the Penguins willing to commit to a rebuild?
