Andy Toole reflects on RMU's season

Robert Morris men’s basketball coach Andy Toole joined the show. Andy said he is proud and disappointed at the same time following the loss to Alabama. Andy is upset with the loss, but very happy with how his team performed. Andy couldn’t do a full autopsy on the loss, but thought of a few things today that he wishes were done differently. Andy gave credit to the crowd that made the trip from Pittsburgh to Cleveland. Andy discussed the pace of the game and how it worked into his team’s favor. Poni told Andy he really thought RMU was going to win the game. Andy brought up the lead that was taken with about 7 minutes to go, but the fouling down the stretch that hurt his team. Andy told his team how proud he was of their body of work this season and why he thinks it may be the best team in Robert Morris history. Andy mentioned how special it was to play so close to home for this one. What did Andy learn about himself this season? Andy said the success this season revitalized his confidence a little bit. Andy talked about how this game could be a building block for RMU hoops. Andy is thankful of his team for the job done in ’24-’25.
