A Dark Night in Aurora: Inside James Holmes and the Colorado Mass Shootings

James Holmes killed or wounded 70 people in a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado. Unlike many other mass shootings, Holmes is unique in regard to his willingness to be taken into custody alive. In the court case that followed, Dr. William H.
