Tech Meets Trash: Version 1 of Eyesea's platform accumulated over 120K photos in very short order. Today, with support from tech companies like Mapbox, Grundo, and Dataiku, and a hackathon from Microsoft, they're leveraging MI/AI to better identify and manage maritime pollution. App Innovations: The Eyesea app has a strong focus on personal and ship data security, collecting only pollution images, no personal data. Beyond Challenges: Eyesea navigated the rough waters of software collaborations, bit has had strong industry support over this process ChartWorld funding version one, and support from BSM leading to a pivotal app rebuild.
