32: Martin Strotton | “Alexa, what shall I wear today?”

Martin studied Psychology and Artificial Intelligence at university, and after graduation, he began working as a web developer. He began his career working for the U.S e-commerce startup Buy.com which, without really planning it, started his journey working in online retail. Martin later spent 8 years at a fast-growing online fashion company ASOS.com. Working at ASOS.com in more of a strategy role led him to his current project, Able Style, which is designed to help everyone get dressed better by helping them answer the question, “What shall I wear today?” In this week’s episode of The Artificial Podcast Nick chats with Martin Strotton. With more than two decades worth of experience in e-commerce and the online fashion industry Martin shares some valuable insights into the evolution of e-commerce and how technologies like AI and Voice are rapidly innovating the space.
