MITRE and Nvidia Supercomputer to Revolutionize U.S. Government AI Tech

MITRE, a research organization that supplies the Pentagon and U.S. intelligence agencies, is partnering with chipmaker Nvidia to build a $20 million supercomputer. The project aims to accelerate the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities across the U.S. federal government, improving aspects such as Medicare and tax filing processes. The supercomputer will be located in Ashburn, Va., and operational by year-end. The collaboration is part of President Biden's efforts to ensure the U.S. remains a leading AI power.
