Right now your YouTube Homepage looks like... it always does. Filled with recommendations based on the videos you chose to watch in the past, and that other people like you have engaged with and enjoyed. YouTube’s Discovery system works super hard to figure out the videos you personally, individually, would like to see the most, and then offers them to you. But, in the near future, there’s a good chance your Homepage won’t look like that anymore. It’ll look more like this. At least something like this. Because it won’t be based on what you like to watch anymore. It’ll be based on what the government decides you should watch. And that can't be allowed to happen.
