OpenAI Pushes for AI Infrastructure Tax Credit Expansion

OpenAI, a leading AI company, proposed expanding the Advanced Manufacturing Investment Credit to cover AI infrastructure. The credit, currently for semiconductor manufacturers, could lower costs and encourage private investment in AI data centers. OpenAIs chief global affairs officer, Chris Lehane, wrote a letter to the White House, asking for a broader credit and a reserve of raw materials.
