He provides credible technical guidance to engage regulators, customers and other automotive suppliers on the direction of emissions regulations globally and their impact on future technology choices. Ameya currently serves as an associate editor for the SAE Journal of Engines, Publishing Editor for the journal Emission Control Science and Technology and Editorial Board Member of the Transportation Engineering Journal. He is also a reviewer for various projects funded by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Vehicle Technologies Office through the Annual Merit Review. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Delaware in Mechanical Engineering.
