As believers, our focus should be the priority of God and His Kingdom. James 1:2, 13-14. 📍There are 3 ways the devil deceives believers. - Persecution - Temptation - Seduction The most common of these three is seduction. Seduction is subtle, but we can be discerning if we are vigilant. Sometimes the devil tries to use good things against the word of God in our lives - this is seduction. 📍How to overcome temptation 1) Believe in the final authority of the word of God. 2) Contentment; Godliness with contentment is great gain. 1 Timothy 6:6 3) Count it all joy when you go through tests. James 1:2-4 In conclusion, good things need to be regulated or they will become an idol in your heart. The aim is to be satisfied not to look satisfied.
