#8 Stardew Valley

Old McAdam had a farm. . . In this week's episode I pick up my hoe, pickaxe and scythe and head out to my Grandpa's old farm in Concerned Ape's Stardew Valley. It ain't much but it's honest work and I can't get enough of it in this game, it's so fun (and addictive) to play. Stardew Valley is arguably the best farming/life style sim there is and has surpassed games like Story of Seasons and Harvest Moon that inspired its maker Eric Barone. In this episode I explore why that might be and what makes this game as relevant today as it was in its initial release back in 2011. Want to discuss this game?
